Volleyball

It's pretty weird today we didn't have any tech but it's still really fun cause Mrs Tofa took us out for a long P.E lesson. We were all confused with what teams to go in so Mrs Tofa put use in our house groups then we went on from there.

The team I was in went around the word 3 times it was awesome I really enjoyed our lesson not just cause it was volley but cause it was long, I really liked the lesson and I hope we do it again.

Kiwi Can

Right after Morning tea we had Kiwi can, Once again we jumped into four lines and Mr Afutoto Started talking to us about what do we want to be, which is called a long term goal. We got into small groups of three or four then we started talking about something we are going to do.

After that we got into our energiser which was call limbo, the challenge was to get as many people as you can cross the limbo stick. My groups best was Four I think.

We finally ended with a quick round of GKQ. Witch is a Question game and we went five by five. I enjoyed kiwi can and it was really fun

Volleyball lesson

Today we had a really cool volleyball lesson with coach Toni, We started off with partners then we moved on with our serving then toss and server it was awesome. Before we finished up with the skills we were given a challenge to see who can have the most serves and catching it, Coach Toni said first to 20 wins. Levi and Alfred won. When we finished with that we jumped into a line and coach Toni numbered us off.

When we finally found our teams we seat off into our games, The first group my group and I versed was team 5 then we moved on to team 1 and 3. The games ended there cause the next class was already there. We said thank to Coach Toni and left.

My thoughts on the lesson was it was even more better then the last cause we listened more and played more games of volley.

Why I wrote my poem

My motherland means everything to me, which is why I read this poem. It doesn't rhyme but I don't mind and I was so anxious to read it but my body got up and I took a deep breath and said it out loud. When the words came out I was relieved and felt good, I felt so good that I even volunteered to say it in front of the whole school.

Netball section

Netball is a non contact sport, there is no stepping and to defend its 3 feet from the player. You are given a partner to stay with, to either defend or attack.

Today room 7 student got the opportunity to go and learn new games skills and have a game at the end. We first started by finding a partner and go on the opposite side of them. Then we were all set up the couch either said high or low. If it was high we would run to the middle, high five our partner then pivot. When it was low we would do a low five and jump turn.

After that we played a game of rugby netball, we started by getting into teams, the non beb team and the beb team. We got into our line up and started to pass the ball down to the goal. The beb team won by 3 points. I really enjoyed the netball section.

Ripper Rugby recount

Ripper Rugby is kind of like rugby but there is no contact with the other players. The sport includes a belt, 2 tags and a ball. The 2 teams need to rip off the other player’s tag to get them out.

Room 7 had the privilege to play Ripper rugby. Our coach was from varsity and his name was Matt. We had a quick warm up game which was ball tag. After we finished our warm up game we had to line up in four even groups. We had to pass the ball down the line until we reached the end. We passed the ball down the line a couple more times then we played a long game of ripper Bull Rush.

They started calling names and colours we had on like our shoe colour. I was able to run down the field a couple of times until I was tagged. So we were running after the other people that was still in the game.

In the end we were all so tired and covered with grass, rushing down from the field to the water fountain.
